It is still with me. We all found the opera to be visually and musically enthralling. The reckless use of food throughout the acts touched upon our tastebuds and appetite, as if we were there! The Sandman song literally brought me to tears, and my 10 year old daughter now puts herself to sleep thinking about this song and the 14 angels. This opera was a virtual masterpiece. The singing and acting were excellent. The chefs were eyecatching and diversionary. I missed the bright colors of the gingerbread house. Overall a very satisfactory experience.
